I don't really remember either you or your mother Jackie but was at FC for paret of the time you were on campus.
I might vaguely remember Evelyn but was first an English Major then a Graphic arts major so not really taking any buisiness courses and the first two year I was still in the undergrad program mosty doing the core courses.

That building behind the Main Building would most likely be the outback which I think was first the ocation of the snack bar before it was moved to Xanadu on the other side of the parking lot from the old portico entrance and then moved into the main building where it became known as the Back Inn ( because it moved back in to the main building where it might have first been located.... confirmation by any early alums needed here ) .

I also remember Al and Brendas Bortzois as being beautiful dogs , many shenanigans like the paper airplane fights , the limited TV available but sometimes a nice break in routine, and I think you probably mean the community meetings at the college ?

When the snack bar was in the front room at Xanadu there were the pinball machine and other distractions with Tim Lundquist always trying to stay at the top of the winners list. I trhink I made the top once or twice mainly because that maching was the same as one I played for a summer season in clearwater Fla where it was a nickle machine.

Louie Hepburn took me on a tour of the college whe I first showed up to apply and the outback was one of the things we visited along with the pool house where I spent a lot of time once I was a student.
The pool was very popular in summers while it was still in use and many people hung out there in all seasons unless it was snowed in of course as well as the ninth green just in front of the pool location.

Lots o good memories when not in class or studying at the college.

Glad you found this board but most peop[le seem to have migrated over to facebook these days where a l;arge number of alumnii and associates seem to show up.
