Where are you "First canarsie Blacks". It's September and you haven't responded back. Come on I want to hear your comments to these posts. Stop hiding behind the computer and admit that Canarsie was much better when it was a predominately white neighborhood. Come on...admit it, everyone else on this site already knows the truth. There is no good black area in America so what would make you think that Canarsie is better now that it's mainly black then when it was mostly white. As I posted in July, you can't even go to the store now without wondering if your going to be some crime statistic. What a hellhole. But like someone just posted...the reality is that most of the new canarsie residents have such a low standard of living that they just think it's the way your supposed to live. we are all still waiting for your response.

I'm out of Canarise for almost 2 years. I lived there for 30 years. It was time to leave. My mom got mugged once going into our building. Walking home from the bus, I didn't feel safe. The block wasn't that well lit. The area sure has changed.
