Subject: Kenneth in his birthday suit - he doesn't strike me as the sharpest knife in the drawer, I can see him being the sort who thinks being naked and killing a deer, evidently with his bare hands, is a cool thing to do.

Claire had no idea so maybe the default is 202 years and since that's what she believed and was aiming for as she went back to the present and then back to Jamie she was able to do the same time span with each passage. Same for Bri and Roger - their thoughts were focused on the year they wanted to arrive. Leghair was probably scared she'd be found out as the one who sent Claire to Cranesmuir and get a beating.
