Subject: So my neighbor lent me her copy of Exile and I devoured it. May I post the negative and positive thoughts here? Or just positive? Thank you! :)

You are welcome to post either positive or negative, as long as the negative isn't nasty and you don't go on and no. By nasty I mean you can say 'I didn't like x' or even 'I don't understand why DG had her character do x' but not 'DG is stupid for writing x'. Part of what makes this place great is that we can, and often do, respectfully and intelligently disagree with one-another about this or that scene or this or that character - but we all love the books as a whole. I personally loved Exile but not everyone did, and all thoughts are welcome, keeping in mind this is a forum for fans, not bashers. *G* -- jayn, 08:14:37 10/25/10 Mon

I did like it but gosh it makes me want another book so badly. I would love to see it from Jamie's perspective and from Murtagh and Jenny and Elder Ian...As I am sure everyone else has, I picture Jamie and Claire as I wish..I think the illustrator did capture some things of what I perceive them to look like. Jamies bum is very nice as are his eyes and his face in general but one page I like it, the next I don't..Claire's hands on some pages are scary but I love the full on pic of her in the back of the book..perhaps her hair being curlier..:) Did not envision Leg hair, Dougal or Murtagh like that..pictured her a bit more voluptuous but I may be thinking of older Leg Hair..sometimes got confused as to who was Kenneth and who was Murtagh but could be because i was reading so fast.And Claire's knockers..woo hoo..they are spilling all over..good for Jamie! LOL! .All in all, it just makes me want another book..but it was certainly a nice taste.
