Subject: I lent my copy of The Exile to a friend at work who I hosed. She told me the other day that she hasn't gotten a chance to read it yet, but her DH devoured it and loved it. Now he wants to read Outlander. He loved the politics of the clan and the battles with the English. Made me laugh, as I thought about how DG says that when people ask her what her books are about, she varies her message, depending on the demographic of the questioner. Apparently, she knows whereof she speaks, since friend and I love J&C's love story whle her DH likes the war stuff.
