This may be a glitch, please send in two cardfiles, one behaving properly and one behaving incorrectly.

What do you mean with "displays a seemingly arbitrary file"? Do you mean it plays back a sound file? VTrain does play back a variety of feedback sounds, as described in the Help file, but this is in the Review mode, not when you record sounds in the Compose mode.<p>
