Apart from Ctrl+A ("Show me the answer") and Ctrl+Backspace ("I give up"), you can use Alt+[Number] combinations for those and other buttons, as explained in the help file.

Anyway, although we are considering to include customizability of all shortcuts in our to-do-list, but currently we are working on features we feel are more innovative and likely to increase the pedagogical value of VTrain.
