Subject: Eva Davies

Eva was born 1899 and died 1984 and was the daughter of Hugh and Mary Davies - owners of the Ffosmaen Inn, Nantyglo.
By the time of the 1911 census the family had moved to Milfraen House, Nantyglo. She was the first wife of my father - William Jelly - and they were divorced in 1945. Eva returned to Nantyglo and died in Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny after a fall.
I wonder if anyone can remember Eva. I would like to know what sort of lady she was and also - was she an invalid?
