Sadly it is not the same Hale family. It is ours that used to live in Providence Villa and I must say in all my searching of Hale records I don't recall any Ivors. You may want to check out halefamily.net they have done lots of research into the Hale family.

Martyn - we would have been the "foreigners" coming to stare at Providence Villa with my dad. Once in the 70's when Great Aunt Olive was alive and living there, and more recently on dad's last visit to his birthplace.
