Subject: Ancestors from 'East Side Cwmtillery"

I have a record from a parish register of St Peters in Blaenavon, Monmouthshire, that says Trevor GAUT died Sept 12 1911 aged 21 years and that he was born, or from East Side Cwmtillery.

Can anyone shed any light on this fellow? The name could be recorded as GANT GAWT GOUTE GOUGHT etc.

Also, what county is Cwmtillery in? I've been trying to find this place in the 1901 online census and it requires a county to perform the search. I've tried Gwent, Blaenau and Blaenau Gwent to no avail.
