Well, My husband and I welcomed our first daughter, Pandora Sivan Marie Ernst into the world on August 20th, 2008. she was 5lb 7 oz and 18 in long and was born with two bottom front teeth!!! She has kept me very busy this past week but we wouldn't have it any other way. I am looking forward to the day when I tearfully leave her at the steps of her cabin at Camp Farwell!!!

Hey guys, just been reading some messages and looking at some pictures - but not too many in case I get too upset from missing camp!

Looks like everyone is having a fantastic time out there! You guys are all really lucky. I couldn't find any pictures of the musicals or plays though. I hope they were all brilliant - I'm sure they were!

I'm currently working on my own play (well, it's written by Jim Cartwright - he's very good) which I'm going to be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in just a week. I've finally learnt all my lines (just like I'm sure all Farwell's budding actresses have done) and we're just putting the finishing touches together. I'm really looking forward to it.

Anyways, a big hello to campers, counsellors and directors alike - make the most of the rest of second session!

HIII Oh Da!!!!! I just got home like 45 minutes ago from the longest car ride EVER! It took around like 7 hours! And I had to pee!!!!!! I was so sad this morning when i left but i cannot wait for next summer and all the stuff that is to come such as: meeting new people, pushing ShClare out of the hay loft, actually taking archery etc.! And i cannot wait to get the "shirt of the traveling needles" from Sunnie!

Hey everyone.

I'm finally back home in good old England and OMG is it strange or what, but it's good to be back in my own bed lol.
Missing the Farwell bubble and my dancers Michelle, Abby, Julie, Kelsey and everyone else that took my dance classes :)Also missing the lovely bell to wake me up every morning!!
Travelling was amazing after camp. Went to NYC, Washington DC, San Diego, Hollywood, Las Vegas and Santa Ana with Becky, Claire O, Steph L, Nat and Liam.
Missing all the staff. So lucky that I got to work with a great bunch of people. Will always remeber the memories.
Hope to come back next year fingers cross

oh my darling girls it seems that it has been almost two weeks since i left camp while my eyes had been completely exhausted of tears i hadn't really realized that i was leaving until kerry started chasing my car down the road and i couldnt pass it off with just a laugh.
of course, walking into a cafe on the way home with irati's smile face on my nose didnt help my dignity any more than it had when i couldnt order my food without my eyes welling up. i mean seriously! what happened to table order and not having any control over what you were eating!
now i'll have to find some nerdy sixth grader to play "magic the gathering" with seeing as i have my cards and they give me quite a laugh when i look back on them.
school for me starts next wednesday [ahhaha elena my dear! i'm sorry for your early start :D]
oh sophie how i'll miss your sarcastic remarks and the way you say "dude"!
and elena...you're probably the most amazing girl i've ever known. i could never ask for anything more in a friend, or a person.
mmmph. okay. yeah. i'm still not over the whole "lets stay at camp for three weeks and then come back and be all happy and shop for school clothes and happily get back on the bus at 6:45 in the morning"

whoa this post is long but i have a lot on my mind...
i miss you all more than words can even express even after i read through two jane austen books in three days.

Hello All my lovely Farwellites,
I can't believe how fast the summer passes this year, it went by way too fast for my liking. But I will admit I think this summer was the best so far since I've been at camp. I've been home just chilling around the house, and spending my last few days left of summer with my friends, or a good book. I finished Breaking Dawn a few days ago, and it was amazing, haha, I wish i had time at camp to read it so I could talk to people about it, but with the musical, and banquet letters, I lacked the free time. I still haven't gotten my photo developed yet which is killing me because I can't wait to laugh at all the waky pictures I took. My foot is still messed up, my mom and I together made the decision to not go to the doctor, because when we do all they are going to tell me is to rest and tape my foot, which is exactly what I'm doing. But my mom is a nurse so if it starts looking really bad we will go. My mom said its most likily a hairline fracture, or a bad jaming that turned into a stress fracture. Either way it hurts unbearably. Darn toes. Oh Da! haha. School starts tomorrow for me, anyone else have a mean school district that starts you before Labor Day?? Hahah, I'm a Freshman...dun dun dun. I'm excited though, and really nervous. So good luck to everyone is school, and in sports and theater and whatever else you guys...girls do over the school year. Keep in touch chickies! This is Lucie, last year's dancing counselor. I just had a look at this year's pictures and.. oh how I wish I could be back at Farwell! But I have exams in July and May coming up so there is no time..I saw many familiar faces and I have to say that it's amazing how you all have changed and grown through this year. So, I've been home less than a week, and I am already yearning to get back to camp! My mom's wedding is on Saturdat, and I cannot wait for that. Becca and Kady Wilson are coming down. As well as Sophie and Abi, counselors. I am stoked.

This year was amazing. I do believe that it was my favorite. Tis, I know you'll read this and being saying "WHAAAA? '05!!", but truly, the summer of 2008 was phenomenal. The staff and campers were amazing. This couldn't have been a better last camper year. Hopefully, next year I will be back as riding staff[knock on wood!!]. I really hope so, because that would be totally ace.

Well, even though I've been home less than a week, my hair colour has already changed back to it's normal hot pink, and i got most of it chopped off. Ha.

SHELBY:
Thanks you so so so much for this year, and last. You made my CIT expierence amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better mentor. Congrats on the baby. She's beautiful!

Marley/Janine:
Thanks to you two as well for making my last CIT summer as amazing as is possibly could.

I'll be writing more through the year, and probably after the wedding to let you all know how it was.

It's Tine, last year's swimming counselor.
I look up the pictures every week (day) and it makes me sad (I'm not there), but then it also makes me happy 'cause I see so many familiar faces.

Now seriously: It looks like you have lots of fun, and to last years 1st session Toll House and 2nd seccion Knotted Pine when I see you now, many of you are CITs now. Sophia, Nell[though you where just adopted], Caitlyn & Victoria [my buddy cabin girls], Tori and Zaida I can't belive how fast the time passes. I miss you girls.
To 2nd year CITs good to see you again and I hope the girls are nice to you and say 'please' & 'thank you ', when you serve them (Catherine I miss you and Arden what is that with your Lifeguard-jumper?).
Hey Danielle Wood, I see you are back for longer this year, that's awesome.
I miss Camp heaps and all you folks (included directors).
I wait now to get into Uni and when I'm lucky and the schedule works out I'm hopfully back next year.
Oh! My Australia-trip was awesome:
I learned surfing, thought the kids swimming (who could tell ;-) ), I saw lots of kangaroos & koalas (they are really so cute) and I became an australian cowgirl [Jilleroo], yeah really with all the cattle and so.
So I wish you all a great summer and I'm looking forward to the new pictures.

Hey everybody!
I'm still at my uncles house in burlington, because my flight to NYC was canceled!! So I'm in Vermont until I can get another flight. I'm so camp sick right now, and i keep on tell my parents that they should just drive me back to Farwell right now! I miss all of my friends, and counselers. The last couple of days of camp went by so fast, and it was so sad to leave. I just wanted to say hi to Claudia, Clare C. (like Sarah said, keep on doing your pinky dance), and Irati, (i told you you would have "raindrops in your eyes") I miss you all and I'm so so so so so excited to come back next year!!! (I think its 346 days....)

I just talked to Ellie for a few minutes and I swear I thought the computer was gonna break from her excitment for camp. I just took a trip to Marthas Vineyard and just got back today and I was trying to figure out what was happening with camp and I predicted this Sunday was the start of first session, so when I got back I came online and saw the pictures. They are fabulous! The staff looks happy and prepared for us trouble makers and all the campers seem happy the horses look happy and ready for some riding and everything just looks at ease and relaxed. Although I'm sure the first week was crazy. I havent kept in touch at all this school year, I've been a poor farwelite, but to all the new campers have a blast and my only advice as a fourth year camper is get out there meet new friends take a bunch of activities, and be someone outside the box and you'll fit right in. It was a nice surpise to see how many returning counselors there are this year!! I cant wait just four more weeks!! And same with Ellie I'm happy to see we got the boys in dresses already. Much love- can't wait to see everyone soon. Con mucho amor, Te amo.

hey ladies!! how is everyone? missing you all tons, thank god for facebook. i don't know what'd i would do without communication with all you wonderful girlies through the school year.

wel, everything is going well on my end of things. i recently broke my elbow, no big shakes. it's getting better as i type this. i fell off a horse names cody, landed on me hand as if i were to do a pushup, and then the impact was on my elbow and it was fractured. i lost my guts to ride, so hopefully camp will get me back in the spirit. i just think that jumping will be out for a little while.

other than that...
WE'RE GETTING MARRIED! and by we're i mean my mother and her boyfiend christian. they made the desicion a while ago, but he just proposed the other night[he had to find the right ring to match the wedding bands!] but the wedding is august 23, about a week after we get back from camp! insanity!! but that's going to be grand.

school is well, i have been focusing on only that for pretty much the last four weeks. i have to raise my biology grade, or i'll go insane. it's a b+ and i've had a-'a all year. i was elected as archives chair for my drama troupe, and i am being inducted this year into the international thespian society troupe #355!!

tell i cannot wait to see you all! only 20 days!!!

I'm just about to finish uni in a couple of months and I'm hoping to eventually get a job as a physiotherapist in New Zealand!

I've just been looking at the camp photos from last year, it brings back so many memories of when I was their in 2005. I've got such wonderful thoughts and amazing photos, i'm always telling people about my summer their which was 3 years ago, I still go on about it till this day.

As you might know i will not be coming back to camp this year, but it seem to be that I cant get enough of the the US.

I turn 21 on the 9th of March and I have decided that I am gonna celebrate it with a trip to Chicago and St Louis for my actuall birthday.

I am heading to the America, first stop Chicago, in the end of Feb. Then heading to St: Louis and then back to Chicago about the 12th Match before I head back home to Sweden.

I have some exciting news, guys...After 2 auditions over a week and a half, I booked an F.Y.E. commercial! (F.Y.E. stands for For Your Entertainment, and they sell C.D.s, DVDs, etc.)
I don't know when it is airing yet, I'm guessing sometime this summer.

schools been going kinda well. regents in a couple of weeks. the end of schoool in just a little while. althought it's been raining a lot. ahha me and my friend elle arent too happy about that
but i did happen to see my amazing friend charlotte at the school she goes to, which i might be attending next year. i loved seeing her face.

Hi Everyone, hope all is well with the run up to summer, i havent posted on here in so long people probably wont even remember me. I however do remember each and everyone one of you that touched my heart during my two summers at Farwell and will never forget you.

I have been looking at all the photos from last year and seen some familiar faces, Lexi and Jamie how are you both? and Lexi is that a ring i see on your wedding finger???? and also is that grown up Marne (i think that how you spell it)iv'e seen on some of them, rememeber her first summer when she was just six years old. It's so nice to see how everyone grows up with Farwell, i will always keep my memories of my time at Farwell close to my heart as my experience there has made me who i am today, and i know many of you will feel the same.

I do hope everyone has a great summer i've no doubt you will.

I haven't been on here for ages, I think about camp all the time and miss everything about it, the campers, directors, the laughs we all had.
I was comming back for the 2nd year when I found out I was pregnant, I was so upset as a really wanted to come back. Hopefully one day I could come back if thats ok Charyl?
I now have a beautiful little girl whos now 17 months old and i'm due to be married on 25th October this year.
I have wonderful memories of camp 2005, I will never forget it.

hi guy's so it's the count down to camp again!! i for one will be thinking and wishing i was there there this summer!! your all going to have a great time!!! it's a shame the bath's from boy will not be there to teach on the lake! and all so tennis(brayo is farwell's best player ever) and up on the soccer field(brayo is all so farwell's best ever player/coach)but never fear Liam ralph (corsham boy) will be coming over to coach tennis and soccer i would like to add no matter what he's!! he is not as good as i was me being 38!!!..but any way i will miss camp and i no your all going to have a fab time!!! i look forward to seeing the photo's have a great summer one and all!!!

Hey guys! It's Alina from Mixing Bowl '05 & '06. I don't know if anyone remembers me? I had a random urge to look at the message board yesterday, and I feel like I should post! Here's a little update: Some of you may remember my episode at camp, when I was taken to the hospital. I would like to tell you all that in early 2007 I was diagnosed with epilepsy, and we are 99% positive I had a seizure at camp, but since no one witnessed it, we can't be sure. Just thought everyone should know. And I've been missing Farwell lately--I've been thinking about my summer plans and whatnot. Last year I went to Idol Camp, but it definitely wasn't as good as Farwell. I mean, it was fun, but I missed going to a traditional camp. I have an offer to go abroad on a student ambassador program this summer, but I've sort of been thinking I want to go back to Farwell. I miss the campfires, giggling and talking at night in the cabins, windsurfing, movies, just everything! I honestly can't remember why I left! Oh, also, I've been doing some acting lately; I took an acting for the camera course in the fall. Nothing else is really new though--just missing Farwell! Wow this is getting long now...I've got to go practice piano before my lesson. But I'd love to hear from anybody!

Dylan Avery has finally arrived! As my old friends know, my daughter was pregnant this winter. The baby made his apperance yesterday. He is beautiful. 7lbs 1oz. 20 in long.
You guys can meet him this summer. I can't wait for him to meet my Farwell family.

Hey everyone!!

Wow, i haven't been on the message board in forever! Just wanted to post and let you all know that I won't be going back to camp this summer ... there were so many conflicts and I'm going to be attending a theatre program here in London instead. Still, I am going to miss Farwell SOOOOOOOOO much - after six summers it's more of a home than some places i've lived!

Hey guys! Guess what! I got accepted into the boarding school I want to go to!!! I found out on March 10th, but I had a sudden urge to come to the message board today. So I just wanted to say that. I just got back home from a school trip to Washington D.C. It was so much fun! We went for a week and saw so many places! I am so happy that I got accepted into The Gunnery! And no, the school does not involve guns. Everyone asks that whenever I say the name of the school. But I have a question, I need to decide on whether I should go to this schol or not. If you were me, and you had the choice, which one would you go to? Boarding School, or Public School? I have to go. Bye guys! I miss Farwell so much!

- Hi Alina. Jiffy time is the first period of the day and with the exception of riding it is not scheduled on a regular basis. It's a time to try some more unusual things that the counselors might know, or a time to work on your cabin skit, or work out a cabin issue that may be present. I haven't been on here in forever, but today I was listening to the radio on my computer. There's this program on pandora.com where you can type in a song you like and it plays others like it. Anyways, I typed in a random song I like and one of the songs it played like it was Barges, and then I thought of camp and missed everyone and hoped you were all doing well! Hey everyone,
We are finally home. Europe was great! The people were wonderful, and the places we saw were amazing! We did a lot of running around,but I would not have missed one little stair.
Just a thought for you: some of their buildings are older than our country. How's that for reality?
Adam and Olda's parents welcomed us like we were long time friends. They were the warmest of people. Now I know why they are such great people.
As soon as pics are done I will get them on.
If you get a chance to visit a friend from Farwell take it. It is good to see a different point of veiw.
