farwell will seem huge at first but trust me that's one of the many things that makes it perfect. i think it's really smart of you to want to make friends asap because the closer you become the more fun you'll have. i only want to make one suggestion to you though: making "friends" with the girls before the session starts is a smart idea, but i would limit it to aquaintances because that's not how farwell friendships work. farwell friendships work by meeting new people and getting to know them in person, by sharing cabins, activities, or other friends. also, when you meet them in person you may not find you like them as much as you did when you met them over the internet. Also, every year is different. There are only a few conselours who return every year, people change, and campers come and go. if your first session is so-so, DO NOT LOOK FOR ANOTHER CAMP. For me, my first year was great, but it got better every year.

Farwell really is amazing and I can't wait to go back! You should be super excited.

I'm 13 by the way. But I would be the last person to tell you we can't be friends because of the age gap.

See you in less than 3 months!
