Hello all spidey fans from around the world. I'm a 22 year old life fan of spiderman but this is my debut on the site. I'm desperate to know where I can find or be made a good quality adult spiderman costume. There must be someone out there who knows, please can someone let me know. Thanks

I don't know where to find one, but the movie costume was made by UnderArmour. They have a great site. If you bought a couple of their outfits, you could piece together your own.

I have combed the web in search of a professional looking Spider-Man costume myself and I think we will just have to be patient! They are pretty cheep looking. We need something tight and with a full face, at least nylon with spandex mask. Also no holes for eyes, we need scratch resistant plastic over the eyes. Kids sizes too.

Ok for real why are all the spiderman costumes looking like pajamas. Why can't someone design one more realistic. I am talking about the hole costume. I have just now found a new spidey costume that is a exact replica of the real thing. it is preety cool but expensive...$925 expensive. it is made out of nylon and spandex. the eyes are made of matallic with no holes and i think it is the best one i have seen!

I dont understand It I finally raised 450.00 I started working out slimmed down and buffed out and am now ready for the purchase of the spiderman costume from margraet waite and now the price is raised to 499.00 in just two days. what a hassle it is. I am kinda pissed she raised her price and for the principle of the matter i wont get spend the extrea 50.00 plus shipping I finally convinced everyone i am not crazy and I cant find a damn costume for the 450.00 I guess I will just buy some more beer and wait until the hype calms down.

I can make a costume but I'm not allowed I'm young, this isn't my real Email address. Anyway u should use lycra(Pretty cheap for how much space it can cover) and yard of it by 6 feet is about 10 bucks so the people who sell you the costumes over the internet rip you off. You should use white mesh for the eyes and strong black waterproof glue for the web. Mesh is cheap and so is the glue the total to make a childs size would be estimated at $31.00 and adult maybe $51.00. I advise you to make your own.

I too was looking for a spiderman suit. i have a website for you. you have to have a credit card to order it. But i have to warn you of the quality of the web design. i talked to a costume designer, and i found that the raised webbing on the suit that clearly sticks out will begin to come off after a certain length of time because the material will eventially outstretch it. that's one of the problems that they had with the movie. for the full suit, the sticker price is over 900 dollars. here is the website.

There is only one way of obtaining a spiderman costume wich is 95% exact to the 2002 movie. And that is spending big bucks, im talkling $1500 - $2000. I've recently been to a broadway tailor and gave him my measurements, with a 40 photo spiderman album containing all the specified details he would need to make it. And i even researched the material, ink, bindings, internal lays e.t.c. So when its ready it should look near perfect to the official suit toby maguire wears. Im hardcore all the way baby! if you really REALLY want a great costume do what i did. :)

Well, I don't know where to find one but if you know how to sew or know someone who can you can make one that isn't all that difficult but trust me it looks fantastic! I swear. All you need is some Cotton Lycra(Cardinal Red and Navy Blue)for the bodysuit, White Mesh for the eyes, Black Matt Acrylic for the 3-D Spider on the front and the lining around the eyes, Black Liquid Acrylic for the 3-D webbing, Cheep Aqua Shoes(You use the Soles for the boot soles, and if you need a costume pattern. The price for the costume material without the pattern is about $80 at the maximum. And with the pattern it costs about $105 at the maximum, don't buy from Tim Lane. His cost is $800 but the costs above ($80, $105) are the real costs. (He rips you off.)

i am looking for a spiderman costume pattern, if any one knows where i can download one or if some one wants to sell one let me know, must be a decent pattern

I see people saying "just make your own costume". well easier said then done. where do Tim Lane and/or Tim L. Smith get their products? HOW CAN I find the spandex marterial with the honeycomb, and the rest of the supplies!!! WHERE DO I FIND A "GOOD" PATTERN TO SEW MY OWN!? CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE. SOMEONE HELP! PLEASE EMAIL ME.

I bought a pattern on Ebay last year (to make my son's costume, the one with Marvel logo - they were not available in store's last year b/c of the movie release), and I bought the material (spandex, etc) at JoAnn. The material did not have the web design on it - the pattern provides a template and you draw it on. I have a picture I can send you if you want - it turned out great, and my son (and nephew!) still wear it to play in.

Hey, I happen to have one that I had custom made professionally for my son. The size is more like a 6 but will stretch to fit a 7-8 depending on his height. It is made of a metallic red 4-way stretch lycra with attatched gloves and feet, a full rear zipper that goes from lower back up to back of attached mask. There is also a belt and nunchucks. It is fashioned off of the comic version of daredevil, not the movie affleck version. I know it is now may but if interested e-mail me at dug@uic.edu. The cost is $100 which is less than paid for and it was only worn for a few hours this past halloween.

Well i found this ecard link that will make you laugh. Know the guy on ABC show "Rodney"? Anyway, Rodney Carrington is a country comedian and his stuff is freaking halirous.. but i wouldn't listen or watch it when kids are around. Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone was interested in an awesome Spiderman costume. It was custom made, but due to my finacial situation I need to part with it for some extra cash. It is extremely well made, and very durable.
The suit is 4 pieces. There is the body suit, with 2 gloves, and a seperate mask. The lycra suit is made from a heavy, super-stretch, blood red and navy blue lycra with a screened brick pattern on both the red and blue. This suit is very durable and comfortable. You can do anything in this suit.
The eyes are chrome and reflective. The vision is very clear and crisp and the eyes cannot be seen from the outside. There is some leather-like foam around the inside of the eyes for comfort.

The webbing is made from a gun-metal acrylic that stretches with the lycra. Everything on this suit is three dementional. The spider on the front looks amazing as well as the spider on the back. The back image is lycra cut and sewn into the back and it stretches with the rest of the suit.
There is one zipper that runs across the upper back and is hidden at the seem between the red and blue.
The suit is also re-enforced in the crotch and armpit areas for extra durability. The suit is done in a zigzag stitch to allow the full potential of the stretch of the lycra.

The boots are designed so that you may wear your own shoes underneath the costume. The ideal shoe size is 10-12.
I am 5'10 with a medium build and it fits me perfect.
The suit would be about $1,000.
