I have combed the web in search of a professional looking Spider-Man costume myself and I think we will just have to be patient! With it being a super hit at the box office right now I'm sure we'll have a good costume come our way shortly and if so, I have $500 ready when someone steps forward with it!!!

They are pretty cheep looking. We need something tight and with a full face, at least nylon with spandex mask. Also no holes for eyes, we need scratch resistant plastic over the eyes. Kids sizes too.

Ok for real why are all the spiderman costumes looking like pajamas. Why can't someone design one more realistic. I am talking about the hole costume. I have just now found a new spidey costume that is a exact replica of the real thing. it is preety cool but expensive...$925 expensive. it is made out of nylon and spandex. the eyes are made of matallic with no holes and i think it is the best one i have seen!

the costumes that Tim makes are way overpriced, the margeret ware ones aren't much better either, we need to send a petition of a lot of people for marvel, or their publicist/costumemaker-people to make costumes that we can be happy to wear not the trash they are giving us now!

I dont understand It I finally raised 450.00 I started working out slimmed down and buffed out and am now ready for the purchase of the spiderman costume from margraet waite and now the price is raised to 499.00 in just two days. what a hassle it is. I am kinda pissed she raised her price and for the principle of the matter i wont get spend the extrea 50.00 plus shipping I finally convinced everyone i am not crazy and I cant find a damn costume for the 450.00 I guess I will just buy some more beer and wait until the hype calms down.

In answer to your question, the difference in quality is between standard and deluxe quality. However, even the deluxe is not professional quality, but they are licensed! To get a professional one you would have to find someone to make one. I have licensed costumes at www.costumeworld.net/store

I can make a costume but I'm not allowed I'm young, this isn't my real Email address. Anyway u should use lycra(Pretty cheap for how much space it can cover) and yard of it by 6 feet is about 10 bucks so the people who sell you the costumes over the internet rip you off. You should use white mesh for the eyes and strong black waterproof glue for the web. Mesh is cheap and so is the glue the total to make a childs size would be estimated at $31.00 and adult maybe $51.00. I advise you to make your own.

I too was looking for a spiderman suit. i have a website for you. you have to have a credit card to order it. But i have to warn you of the quality of the web design. i talked to a costume designer, and i found that the raised webbing on the suit that clearly sticks out will begin to come off after a certain length of time because the material will eventially outstretch it. that's one of the problems that they had with the movie. for the full suit, the sticker price is over 900 dollars. here is the website.
