Mid-grade Shell has held at $3.34/gallon for a couple of weeks here.
Still, my wife and I just picked up a new Civic hybrid. We were going to buy a new car sometime this summer, but decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on Memorial Day. So far, it's not hard to hit or beat the car's EPA mileage numbers if conditions are right. Thanks to its electric assist, it has much more low-end grunt than our '02 Civic EX does. (We kept the old car, and I'll use it for commuting.)
