Shells: More things fall apart.

Wesley goes further into the scary zone.

And Gunn's own deal continues to cost.

Illyria finds that things have changed a lot more than she expected. Interesting that she chooses Wesley as her guide in navigating her new world. Perhaps because he's the most likely to agree to do it. Perhaps a lingering influence of those old memories. Or perhaps she feels a certain kinship with Wesley.

Spike's AtS S5 arc has been about figuring out who he really wants to be. In the past, he's always tried to be whatever he thought the woman in his life wanted him to be. And he's more comfortable thinking of himself that way. Note that when he decides to say he first says "This is what she would have wanted" before pausing and correcting "It's what I want".

Angel gets another indication that he's cut off from help. Although he never got around to explaining WHY it was an emergency.

And we close on a flashback to Fred driving toward Los Angeles.
