Tabula Rasa: Things continue to fall apart. Consequences from OMWF continue to play out.

Willow. Keeps digging herself deeper. Suggesting ANOTHER "forgetting" spell. And then casting it the day after promising Tara she wouldn't cast any spells for a week.

Buffy. Still struggling with depression. Turns to Spike in an act of desperation. Another step taken in Buffy and Spike's mutually dysfunctional relationship.

Giles. One more item for Buffy's abandonment issues. Sincerely believes he's doing the only thing he can, but...

Note the contrast between "Joan" immediately before the spell ending and Buffy immediately afterwards. The sheer weight of misery shown on Buffy's face.

Perhaps they should have had a scene where Buffy jumps over the loan shark...

And we close on the various departures. And then with Buffy and Spike kissing.


Quickening: News of Darla's pregnancy causes a major stir in the local supernatural community. Although some of the various plots interfere with each other.

And we see Holtz in action. Formidable and completely consumed by the desire for vengeance. He and the Kalderash clan should have a chat...

And we close on Darla going into labor.
