Subject: Rewatching Buffy: This Year's Girl

Don't forget! Tonight at 8 pm we continue rewatching the entire series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with season 4, episode 15: "This Year's Girl" and Angel with season 1, episode 15: "The Prodigal."

Faith... mmm, Faith. Faith-y goodness just in time to kick off her (and Joss's) new series, Dollhouse, this Friday on Fox (check local listings.) As for the Angel episode... even after reading the description in Wikipedia, I honestly don't remember a single thing about it. So there you go.

Hope you can stop by for the discussion, which continues here.

A few comments...

This Year's Girl: Faith wakes up.

"Well, why don't we experiment? Press some buttons, see what
happens." That's our Willow...

Xander's remark about a chip in Riley's head turns out to be sort of accurate. Although it isn't actually in his head and it was probably there before he was hospitalized...

The Mayor. Always fun to watch. He does genuinely care about her but he's also manipulating her into being his weapon. And both of these come across in his video.

Signs in the Faith/Joyce scene that Buffy's drifted away from Joyce...

Giles gets some ominous visitors...

And we close on the body switch...

Prodigal: More background on the troubled relationship both Kate and Angel had with their respective fathers...

The new alarm system--just a font of useful information. :-)
