4. During the episode, we're shown scenes from Buffy & Willows daydreams/fantasies. Later, we're shown scenes from the mind of the demon. The parallel isn't likely to be a coincidence.

When shown the bank robbery scene, Buffy initially acts as if she didn't know about it. After she herself appears in the scene, she acts as if she did know - she tries to excuse it.

Is it possible that both reactions are honest ? I think it is, if this particular demon has the ability to alter reality through its' thoughts. We know that some Buffyverse entities have similar powers; for example, the monks who created Dawn. In this case, the demon didn't see the robbery - it imagined it and therefore created it, thereby altering Buffy's memory. If this were the case, then this demon would pose a serious threat to the world, which would explain why Buffy & Willow would want to kill it.
