FX was rerunning DoubleMeat Palace, and it occurred to me that it was stylistically much more of the first couple of seasons, those of the heavy metaphors.

Wouldn't it have worked better for one of the high school Scoobies to be a fast-food drone?

But then, the structure of the episode would have changed, wouldn't it? The droneness would have been connected to some mystical evil, and the bad guy would have been some sort of manager.

If you transferred DMP (or any of the later season eps, or any aspects really) to the early years, what sorts of changes would you envision for them to make them fit in there?
