Btw: "We" don't know for sure if LARGE gal #2 is Amy Madison, do we? Somebody answers "Amy", but so did Cheerleader Catherine Madison in Amy's body way back when.

Wouldn't it be reasonable to say that Amy left Sunnydale with her father, probably with every one else with Clem and his huggable VW bug.

Catherine was last seen by OZ, or seen with her "soul?" imprisoned in her own cheer statue in the old, original High School (Pre-Mayor Giant Snake) explosion.

More Catherine speculation: She would be really mad at Buffy (Catherine's Dawn connection might require some flashback that shows Dawn in B1.03 Witch - the first Buffy episode "completed" according to Nickolas B.

If indeed Catherine Madison is in Amy's body (Amy thus dead? No body to switch from) then I might predict the Hooded boyfriend to be Ethan Rayne.
