I believe the Wolf, Ram and Hart were demons of some sort. I gathered they found a way to make their species more powerful, a point to which Knox alluded.

I'm not sure if Illyria said that she disliked the Partners, but I know they didn't want her around. I can only speculate some theories but one that springs to mind is power and order. As far as the partners are concerned, Illyria is an ex factor and a powerful one at that. I suppose they thought she would ruin their plans (and she did help to do just that, in more ways than one).

As for whether she meant an ubervamp or the vampires we've come to know and love, I'm not sure. I'm not sure of the time it took for ubervamps to evolve into 'regular' vamps and that's assuming they did evolve.
