I think of the vampire strenght being somewhat comparable to the differences in human strenght. I mean, there's weak one's like me and frightfully strong ones as well....so when they get sired, they acquire the basis strenght of that human body....I'd be a really back choice, for example. So when Dawn encounters one she can handle, it's fate...;-)
