I absolutely love Drusilla’s speech pattern. I really do not care all that much whether she makes sense or not, I just enjoy listening to her. Actually, the more cryptic and bewildering her dialog are, the more I like it (of course, I also loved River from Firefly so I seem to have a thing for the non-linear). I love the way she says Spike – she almost spits it out and it has a distinct inflection. I also love the way she uses her body, especially her hands, when she talks. She sways and twists and her arms move about; it is almost like a ballet. When she is excited, she rubs her stomach. As far as I was concerned, there was far too little of Dru in the Buffyverse.
