Subject: Some assembly required

I was just watching some old episodes for my thesis and I came across something weird in "Some assembly required".
Chris and his friend resurrected Chris' brother Daryl after he died in a climbing accident. But why in the world does he look like Frankenstein? He has huge scars all over his face and arms, and metal sticking out. If it was a climbing accident they sure didn't do an autopsy. And even if they did, they'd not cut open his face and arms like that. So I guess they just needed a reason to make the girl Frankenstein-like out of several parts, so they made Daryl scary with the scars, so he wouldn't go out and need a mate...what do you think?
