Subject: Lorne's adive in Fredless

I'm not sure if I understand Lorne's advice in Fredless. Fred was trying escape the reality of what she had been through and Lorne tells her she hasn't run far enough. I understand that Lorne is diplomatic but it didn't seem linked to what was going to happen to her, at least in the immediate future. I just don't understand what Lorne was trying to achieve with this advice.
