I guess I cannot distinguish between Angel and DB. I like his light hearted banter as Angel; for example in Dear Boy when told that the followers of the Thrall demon are killing each other over the issue of how to worship him, Angel says "That is why I rarely go to church". Everyone looks nonplussed and he responds, "I thought it was funny". That is the kind of interaction that I was referring to.
