As far as I can tell, the original 39 discs are EXACTLY identical, including the artwork on the disc itself. The only thing new is the 40th disc which has ~ 5 new features. The new features are interesting but nothing really earth shaking and, IMO, not worth $111 of $129 or $169 if you already have the 7 seasons. There is also a new booklet (Joss' 12 favorite non-Joss eps and an episode guide with nothing new) and a letter from Joss. The artwork on the box is nice and it takes up significantly less shelf space than the seven individual seasons. Seems it will only appeal to those without all the seasons or those who are so obsessed that they need all offerings.
