I agree that there is a lot I would like to see. But it's an old maxim to leave your audience wanting more.

I really think that the central story of Firefly is Mal's. His disillusionment following the battle of Serenity Valley and how he has in some sense remained in that valley. And how inadvertently adopting a pair of space waifs and his exposure to their predicament and sibling devotion (and the choices their situation forces Mal to make) eventually get him back on his path.

All the burning questions have been answered. Sure there's lots more to know, their lives and stories go on. But what could possibly be bigger than this story?

Only Joss knows. Kind of a nice thought. Heh.
