It is from "Shindig." Wash and Zoe are in bed while Mal, Inara and Kaylee are at the party on Persephone. Jayne, River and Book are playing poker in the galley.
Wash and Zoe are in bed, obviously post coital. Wash teases Zoe that she shouldn't fall asleep after sex, what will happen? Zoe replies that Jayne will slit her throat and assume command of the ship. Wash says, "I'll read a nice poem at the funeral, something with imagery." Zoe replies that he could lock the door and spare themselves. Wash answers, "No, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now that she's all corpsified and gross." Zoe laughs.
