Subject: Serenity ad during Lost premiere

I think that all of us, even those who were never too fond of Firefly, hope that Joss's first foray into directing a feature film, Serenity, is a success. With that in mind, I think it's a very good sign that there was a commercial promoting Serenity during tonight's season premiere of Lost. Not only was it bound to get a lot of viewers, but they're just the sort of people Serenity needs: people who aren't necessarily genre fans, but are willing to give it a try if its told in a well-written, realistic manner. Those are the people beyond the scope of Firefly fans who are most likely to go and see it opening week.
