Subject: Friday figures: Serenity is in SERIOUS TROUBLE

Hey, back again with more doom and gloom. I must be cursed or something. Anyways, this was over on Whedonesque but I figured I should post it here.

HSX estimates place the Friday box office at $1.56 million (9th place), a 59% drop from last Friday. This is BAD. Very bad. One of the posters over on Whedonesque put it best:

So we need to get back in theaters today and tomorrow. Talk up the film more. Post guerrilla marketing if you've got 'em. Buy extra tickets if you can to multiply your presence (I'm seriously thinking of buying a ticket to every matinee showing on Sunday at my local theater, but then I've got cash to burn).

Serenity is in trouble. And we've only got a little while to do something.
