I'm actually quite a shy person (one reason why I lurked here for well over a year before posting), but "Serenity" is worth the effort. If you've developed a rapport with someone, even just a very casual acquaintance, it really helps (I contrived to see my astronomy professor during his office hours--despite understanding everything in the course--just so I could develop a rapport with him solving the question I asked and thus be more effective when I recommended the movie). So, really, everybody work the word of mouth! You'll do more this way for "Serenity" than you ever could just buying tickets (but don't let that stop you from buying if you can!).
