If you have a high-speed internet connection, you can alays download the latest Lost or Veronica Mars episode the following morning. Torrentspy.com usually has it indexed first. No Bittorrent client? Azureus is the fanciest, MicroTorrent (uTorrent) is the smallest.

Caution: the entertainment industry currently considers viewing TV shows by downloading to be illegal, just as they once considered taping off the air to be illegal before the courts decided otherwise.
