Hi all! I was blown away by the ladies who were campers in the 40s. I was at Farwell in 1960 and 1961. My mother worked for the Furlongs in Raleigh, so I would love to have overview info on them, when they owned Farwell, when they sold it, etc. Happy Camping to all new campers, Happy Memories to all of us who've been there. Also, if someone could confirm (for my memoir) that Humphrey Bogart's daughter attended Farwell. I remember she was there and was about two years younger than me. Her current age is consistent with what I remember, but would love for someone to confirm.
