Subject: The jumpers Author: Virgil [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 23:02:30 04/27/01 Fri Avon's FA-powered slash against the creature holding the now-uncoinscious Virgil and Lyn tore cleanly through the legs, which disappated into nothignness--but the creature simply floated there, still holding the two, as if some other force were supporting it. Slowly it retracted its arms, pulling it's two victims into itself. For a moment they could see the two unconscious forms floating helpless within the shadow--then both they and the shadow vanished into thin air. Meanwhile the other shadows closed ranks, preparing ot go after the rest of he group. Ducan could see, however, that the carbon-mased gun, with it's explosive rounds (OOC: if I understand the description correctly) seemed to be having more of an effect that the lasers or ordinary guns (hint, hint).
