"Why aren't we moving yet?!" bellowed Thuro. It had already taken too long to get clearance, tipping him off that something was wrong.

A technician put down his headset, looking up at his captain. "Sir. All the docks are locked down. Something about a fight going on outside."

Shit..Without clearance, they wouldn't be able to get the very large bulk of the Yamato-04 out of the dock. True, they could blow a hole in the hangar, but given the size of the hole need to free the Yamato, that was too risky. But a smaller hole...

"Alright people. I want a shot fired from the two forward guns into the side of this hangar. Secondly, I want 4 anit-cruiser Diamond Boron missles locked onto the escaping pirate vessel and airborne before the atmosphere drains out of docking bay. Understood?!"

All the technicians present sounded in unison: "SIR, YES SIR!"

Outside the ship, two of the laser turrets went online, the targeting systems lining up on the side of the hangar. With two loud booms, a hole was opened, 25 feet wide on all sides. A few seconds later, four whooshes of air heralded the release of four missles, which shot through the hole and into the vacuum of space. These 4 particular missiles were equipped with Diamond Boron plating over the warhead, allowing it to take a lagre number of shots, as well as an advanced tracking system, making evasive manuvers more difficult. 2 missiles were set to go off in proximity with the target, in order to strip the shields. The other two would detonate upon impact.
