IRA members threaten family

DUBLIN, Ireland — Members of the outlawed Irish Republican Army are threatening to attack a family that is focusing attention on the IRA's killing of a Catholic man, the victim's sisters say.

The five sisters and fiancee of Robert McCartney, who was fatally stabbed by IRA members outside a Belfast pub, have spent four months campaigning to bring his killers to justice. Witnesses have either been afraid or unwilling to give evidence to police.
