Seeing *NSYNC live on stage was great. The money I paid for the VIP tickets is going where it's needed, and that's why it's so difficult for me to be so critical.

I read the reviews and watched the news coverage of the event. Just so you know, most of the fans the reporters talked to were in the VIP section so that's why they were so positive. I think you would hear a different story from general admission attendees.

I didn't mind sitting through 4 hours of no-name opening acts (although Debbie Gibson's appearance was a very delightful surprise for a child of the 80's like me). I didn't even mind waiting that extra half an hour for *NSYNC to take the stage. But I just don't understand why after canceling two concerts this past summer the members of my favorite group of all time performed for 30 minutes!!!! Could it have killed them to do at least an hour?? I can't complain for being there since 4pm, but what about those people who camped out for hours. I actually felt bad for them. The "free" concert goers were behind a huge chain linked fence (which seemed so barbaric) and the one time I went back there, I saw the people in the front being pushed up against a fence. Then there was this huge tower about as tall as the stage in front of the fence. Those poor people couldn't see a thing!!! I thought they would have at least put up giant screens so everyone could see.

And the fans. What a bunch of stupid, selfish, insensitive individuals!! I'm sorry, I don't understand why people in the FRONT felt the need to stand on chairs. Of course, this caused a ripple effect and everyone has to stand on chairs making it difficult for people w/o chairs to see. Oh, and then fans in the VIP section who felt their seats weren't close enough decided to crowd the aisles. Can we say SAFETY HAZZARD?? Thank GOD no one became ill or hurt and to be rushed out, or this event would have made the news for an entirely different reason.

I understand *NSYNC didn't have to do this and the money is going to a good cause (not to mention to the economic boost the South Beach businesses need), but I can't help but feel like this event was a huge letdown. I think everyone was so concerned with security that they neglected the actual planning of the show. Just my .06 cents.

The actual show itself was cool (I mean, *NSYNC only several feet away-can't beat that), but there was nothing different. They performed Pop, TUMH, Gone, TIPY (the Spanish version), IGBM, a never-before-seen performance of Girlfriend (which JC informed us would most likely be the next single), and BBB. I think that's it.

It's sad how people don't consider others, I mean really, standing up when you're all the way in the front is so inconsiderate. Those who paid were able to get there at whatever time, those who didn't waited for hours. Talk about humanity and caring for one another in a time of need for it. Thanks for filling us in Shantelle.
