In the beginning I wanted to know what happened to Tiffini just as much as the next person. I was heartbroken when I read the rumors.

I can't think of my childhood without thinking of the MMC and the Party. Tiffini was the epitome of cool to me. In every article I read or interview I saw she seemed so nice and down to earth. Very respectful...

I used the word respectful because a few people on this board needed to be reminded that Tiffini is NO LONGER in the entertainment business. Think of it as her quitting her place of employment. Do you expect people from your last job to come up to you and demand things? NO, you don't work there anymore.

She did her job when she was in The Party. She took pictures with fans, shook hands, and signed autographs.

Now as an adult she obviously doesn't want to be found. It would be so easy in the world of facebook, myspace, and twitter to update everyone on her life. She chooses not to.

We, as fans should show her the same respect she gave us. Can you please leave her alone. If she's not well then "fans" calling her out of the blue and stalking her might due more harm than good. It's not helping her. It could set her back and worsen her condition.

This is not a game. We're all adults now. Tiffini owes us nothing! If she wants to update us on her life then great. If not, then fine. It's not the end of the world. Move on.

Plus, if Tiffini truly has a mental condition we are in no place to demand things from her.

What does that say about us...demanding things from a person who's ill?

I have been dropping in occasionally to read this board because I was also curious as to the whereabouts of Tiffini Hale. Tiffini was my idol growing up from the day that I first saw her on that very first episode of the Mickey Mouse Club. When I saw her perform "Straight Up" on that first episode I thought she was the coolest person I have ever seen. I wanted to look like Tiffini. I wanted to dress like Tiffini. I had my hair done like Tiffini. I wanted to be Tiffini. I was feeling nostalgic one day and "googled" Tiffini. I was curious to see what had become of someone who had been a big influence on me growing up during very impressionable years growing up.

Sure I was disappointed when I wasn't able to locate any info on Tiffini, especially considering you can find just about anything on the internet these days. Of course I was sad to hear that Tiffini may be suffering from a mental illness and is possibly addicted to drugs. But most of all, I was shocked and amazed at the behavior of some of the people on this board. You have no right to call yourselves fans of Tiffini if you don't even have the decency to respect her and her family's privacy and just leave them alone. It has been said before: OBVIOUSLY TIFFINI DOES NOT WANT TO BE FOUND. A lot of you need to grow up and get on with your lives.

I am 31 years old and if a lot of you "grew up with Tiffini" the way I did then you're probably around the same age. Don't you people have lives? Don't you have jobs and families and responsibilities? Tiffini's family should get a restraining order on those of you who are actually pathetic enough to drive out to California to try to track Tiffini down. You have no right to do that and your behavior is absolutely sick. If anyone has mental problems it you because seriously- what adult in their right minds behaves this way? Are your lives so empty and unfulfilled that you have to harass this poor girl? And don't even try to say that you're doing this because you "care" about her. If you cared about her you wouldn't post very sensitive information online about her family's financial situation and credit and mental state, etc. You're not doing this because you want to help Tiffini. You're doing this because you want attention or "fame" or a pat on your backs from your peers for "solving" this mystery.

There are real problems in this world. There's a war in Afghanistan. The health care debates. Crime. Poverty. And you choose to use your time and money to stalk a former child star who obviously wants to move on from that period in her life and live in peace and privacy. You people are a perfect example of what is wrong with this country. Your own lives are so empty and pathetic and you can't deal with reality so you obsess over celebrities and ignore the real problems in the world. While you're chasing down Tiffini these problems are not going to go away and your lives will be just as sad and empty when you return home from your little excursion. What exactly do you hope to accomplish with all of this? I doubt my little rant is going to change anyone, but I can only hope that some of you read this and take a good look at yourselves in the mirror and realize how immature and insane you are behaving. Step away from the computer, leave Tiffini alone and go do something constructive with your lives.

Hi
I have to say I have been following this board too.
In some ways I understand that people are going to post rumors, and it is a shame if any are true. Amazed and others, it seems some people are curious and trying to piece things together,
BUT the road trip to scout out what happened to Tiffini...that really freaked me out.
I wondered what happened to her too, but I really do not think it is the right thing to go find her in person. You are strangers to her.

EXACTLY! I totally understand being curious. There is a difference between being curious and being obsessive and going too far. Going on a road trip to track her down is definitely going too far. It's scary actually. :-/

Thank you! This is exactly what I was trying to say.

As far as the road trip goes...I understand the curiosity. I mean we all wanted to know what happened to her. But when do fans become stalkers?

After reading many of the posts about Ms. Hale over the last several months it is apparent that there is an avid curiosity to why she left the business.
If Tiffini doesn't want to be found then the ending will tell the story why she doesn't want to be found with many interviews from people with their own story or perspective into the reasons why.
It is a very thick line between a curious person and a stalker. Name calling and questioning the intent of others is doing nothing but showing your wish for the film to NOT happen. AMAZED is attacking the character of people who are just looking for the truth. Rest assured the people interviewing have very productive lives with families. They are very respected in their communities but they are on a quest for truth. You can either respect it or not. That is up to you.

This is becoming just pure comedy. Has anyone realized that the "family of 8" reference on Wikepedia was taken down due to the fact it was found out it WAS NOT FACT?
I hope in the end that all of the bs written about Tiffini is untrue. If it turns out she has a mental illness and her supposed family has done all of this to hide it I would be ashamed to call them my family. Speaking out about what the fame did to her would probably help others and not to mention possibly make parents THINK TWICE before putting their young children in the spotlight of Hollywood. Her mental disorder (WHICH IS PRETTY MUCH 99.9% FACT) was brought on by the rejection of Hollywood. She was faced with auditions where people were telling her she had zero talent. This poor girl has been through so much.

Wow. Alot of information here. Ok, I think (not that anyone really cares what I think, but here it is) that it is alright to be curious. I know I have been and clearly, we all have been at some point to be communicating on this board. The creation of a documentary, I do not know what the objective of the project is and I guess we will see with time, but the way it is rolled out has yet to be known so I am not going to pass a judgement on something I dont know about.

Richards Crew embarking, I would gather you are going to Arizona due to the rumor of a brother allegedly in jail there...

Amazed, it seems that given the passion behind the post that you somehow may be connected, or perceived to be connected in some way that makes you know something and makes you not disclose your name.
LMAO, I dont think this is becoming comedy, nor do I think that it ever was factual that she had a mental illness even at 99.9%. In addition, never knew she had auditions that people told her she had zero talent.

The point, and for the last time that I look at this board, if people have something to say, identify yourself, since you should not have anything to hide. In addition, Shantel created this board to exchange information on a TV show we watched as kids and not as a means to hurt each other.
