Subject: Lover Eternal by J. R. Ward

Hi everybody!

As I mentioned on the main board I loved this story, although I wanted the ending to be longer.
Here are the questions I have:

1) Mary is immortal now, but not a Vampire. Will Rhage have to feed from one of the Chosen now forever?

2) As Rhage can take Mary for shellan now, do you think we will see another great wedding ceremony like the one in Dark Lover in Zsadist's book?

3) I loved to see John's story unfold and would love to read more about him. Now I got a really far fetched idea when re-reading his story, don't laugh. What do you think, as he always dreams of having been a mighty Warrior, could it be that John has Darius soul?

4) Why do you think Marissa didn't want to see Butch? I really enjoyed their interaction in the first book, I thought it so cute and now she doesn't want to see him all of I sudden. I am quite puzzled! *g*

I would love to hear what you think about all my questions and the book itself!

[> Hi, SusanZ. I am not through with the story yet, but I couldn't resist posting. 1) Yes, I believe that Rhage will continue to feed from a female vamp. Remember the part where Mary asked the chosen one, who was sent to him, if she would be the one that always comes to them. [> 3) I don't think that John has Darius's soul, because there is a time conflict. John would have been born before Darius's death. I think that John had the dreams, because he is a Brother/warrior. They were premonitions of his future. I haven't reached a point in the book where John's paternity is discussed, but I hope that it is. I have a feeling that Ms. Ward is saving that bit for another book though. 4) About Butch and Marissa's lack of interaction, I think that it was simply to keep us interested in the two of them. Maybe they aren't ready to have their story told yet, but Ms. Ward doesn't want us to forget about them. I look forward to reading their story. Maybe the other chick can supplement his diet *G*. I totally think John has Darius' soul. I know the timing is off but we're dealing with the supernatural here. Did you notice John didn't go to the mansion for dinner? I think if he would have he would have recognized it as his home (my guess).
