Subject: Question on J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. What are your thoughts on Tohr and Wellsie. I think that she will die, possibly during childbirth. I am not sure about the survival/non-survival of the baby though. What are your theories?

[> I think that Havers will save her, but it will be close. Then again, J.R. has not problem killing off a main character, so we could be in for a bumpy ride. I go back and forth on this one a lot. -- Missy M, 09:33:59 03/20/06 Mon

[> JR posted at Squawk and she says that Tohr will have his own book which means it does not look good for Wellsie which breaks my heart because when John was at her dinner table and she was hugging him it brought me to tears! -- Leiha Leiha, 10:35:14 03/20/06 Mon

[> [> [> I hope that if and when (although it's looking like when, unfortunately)Wellsie dies, whoever Tohr gets for a new shellan is okay with him having Wellsie's name on his back, still. That he keeps it there, even if if can be removed, somehow.Normally,I don't like if a hero keeps a memento or something of a former love, but in this case,I really think it would bother me greatly if he didn't,since the love he and Wellsie share is so obvious. -- Boadicea, 13:29:49 03/22/06 Wed

[> [> [> [> I can't see Tohr ever getting rid of Wellsie's name, that would be a disservice to their relationship. I was on JR's website and this is what she had to say about Tohr: Tohrment: the steady one, the calm one. He is the one whose betrayal by fate will cut the deepest. -- Leiha, 15:47:18 03/22/06 Wed

[> [> [> [> [> Yep,that doesn't sound too good for him and wellsie to have a HEA,does it? I'm sad for them but you know it will be a good tortured hero story! -- Boadicea, 17:54:13 03/22/06 Wed

[> I am afraid Wellsie will die, too. But if J. R. Ward is like Sherri, I think childbirth is too obvious and she will think up something totally unexpected. -- SusanZ., 12:20:29 03/21/06 Tue

[> Arrghh I hope she isn't doomed, but I agree something horrible seems destined to happen to her which is such a shame. -- Chez, 00:11:22 03/22/06 Wed

[> Wellsie - return from the grave? -- LL, 07:36:01 06/09/06 Fri

Just a thought - not sure if mentioned previously, but does anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that Wellsie might die in a book pre-Torhment's, and then she may come back in his book? Love...second time around with a serious supernatural bent?
