Subject: OK, after finally finishing the book, I am still not sure about the Rhage feeding thing. Yes, he can feed from Mary, but we are led to believe that human blood is not substantial enough (Zsadist's, who feeds on humans only, physique, for example).

I have a feeling that Ms. Ward is saving that bit for another book though. 4) About Butch and Marissa's lack of interaction, I think that it was simply to keep us interested in the two of them. Maybe they aren't ready to have their story told yet, but Ms. Ward doesn't want us to forget about them. I look forward to reading their story.
