Subject: I sort of thought it was that whole being able to track the person if they had fed from you. I figured something hideous was going to happen to Butch and it would make him findable by V. Also, did anyone else get the bit about maybe V being gay? Maybe (ready for some super wild speculation now) Butch will end up with Marissa and then V (being gay?) could feed Marissa and then Butch wont get all bent out of shape over Marissa and V feeding from each other.
