Subject: Truth and justice. That's exactly what I was thinking. They both crave it. They want to see the underdog (or the innocent victim) protected and cared for. They've both dedicated their lives to protecting other people, each in their own way. They're able to respect each other on top of the sexual attraction and emotional resonance.
