Subject: Eyelid Tumor reduced Myopia

Hi,
your site enlightened me a lot on wearing plus lenses. I didnt know there is a way to reduce myopia. I have been wearing glasses for 14 years.

I wish to share my experience on myopia reduction. Actually i did nothing to reduce it. Some six months back i developed eyelid tumor in my left eye due to traveling. Eyelid tumor is somewhat common for me as it occurs atleast once in 4 months. So i didnt give much notice to it. But the tumor i had last time was somewhat severe and it persisted for over a week. And during the days i had the tumor i had clear vision in my left eye and thought because the eyelid is big and pressing on the eye it occurs.

Once i got rid of it, i had blurred vision in my left eye. Not knowing the exact reason i went for a checkup and to my surprise my myopia got reduced from -2.75 to -2.25. The doctors said that as I was wearing a -2.75 glass i had blurred vision and they prescribed -2.25 glass for my left eye, wearing which i am having clear vision now.

I want to know whether this is feasible or there is any other reason for the reduction in Myopia.

Regards,
Jay.
