Date Posted: 06:54:53 10/23/03 Thu I've certainly enjoyed browsing the info on Gino's Hamburgers! I noticed that many of the pictures were of former Gino's located in Maryland and New Jersey. I just wanted to bring to your attention that there were also two (at least two that I remember) Gino's in Fairfax, Virginia: one at Fairfax Circle and one at the corner of Highway 236 (Little River Turnpike) and Prosperity Avenue. I have great memories of my friends and I walking up to the one on 236 (we lived in the Mantua subdivision at the time) and eating lunch there every weekend. That was probably in the mid-1970's when I was about 8-10 years old. I just remember that the hamburgers were fantastic...that's why we went there so much. They had a very unique flavor and were wrapped in a clear wrapper. If I remember correctly, the one on 236 changed to a Pizza Hut in the late 70's, possibly very early 80's-kind of disappointing really. The one at Fairfax Circle may have also become a Pizza Hut, but I'm not certain. Regardless, I have extremely fond memories of eating at Gino's when I was a boy!! Thanks!
