Date Posted: 16:43:46 12/31/08 Wed Oh man, my memory is so vague on this! I remember the Giant, of course, as well as my favorite, Serloiner with cheese. Also, the Gino Geenie(sp). In the 70's, there was some sort of promotion on Philadelphia UHF channel 17's Wee Willie Weber show that was broadcast on the weekday afternoons. You'd fill out a form from the local Gino's and mail it in from home. On the Wee Willie Weber show, they had a huge spinning tub with the mailed forms. Can't recall what the prize was (maybe a bicycle or something), but I remember seeing some black envelopes in the spinning bin, which I thought was clever. Remember someone from Trooper, which was where I lived back then, winning. Interestingly enough, Bill Weber, who was primarily known as a radio personality, made a promotional trip to the Trooper, Pa Hardees restaurant in the 70's. They had a coloring contest and Mr. Weber arrived to announce the winners and hand out autographed photos. Oh wow, we're talking, like 35 years ago. Anybody else remember the channel 17 coolness?
