Date Posted: 17:18:38 02/22/07 Thu Ah, for the glory days of Gino's in Bel Air. From the time I was in high school till I graduated...Gino's WAS the place to go. It still makes my mouth water to think about the GINO GIANT. We used to go there EVERY day after school. Good people running the place...and of course we knew most of the kids behind the counter. Often, I'd stop in there and get 20 hamburgers to take back to Bel Air High School, about 1973, where there would be a line of students...much longer than my burgers would reach. Amazing what 15 cent hamburgers could do for a teenagers social life. When we were down to one Gino's, I think it was the one on Loch Raven Boulevard, we used to run down there for a fix, but by this time Gino's was NO longer the place to go.....from Giant Success..to heroburger...Bust.
