I was also a store mgr. in Pa. stores in the 70's. I rec'd a letter from Gino's main office in Nov of 1981 stating I would be eligable for retirement benifits in the year 2008. I never rec'd any other infro other than that letter.
When Gino's was sold to Marriot in 1982, I believe the pension plan was purchased by Executive Life which has since gone bankrupt. The plan was then purchased by the present holder of assests by Auroa National Assurance, P.o. box 4490, Hartford, Ct., 06147-4490. (800) 265-2652.
I have contacted them and they have no record of my participation in the plan. I have sent letters to Marriot, Dept. of Labor, Pension Benefit Guranty Corp., all to no avail. Good luck on your search.
